The Private Advisory
I didn't have a plan. I had a camera, an idea, and a lot of willingness to try things that felt slightly terrifying. I iterated and worked hard and picked up new skills I didn't know I'd need. I found an incredible network of women who showed up for me in ways I still can't quite believe, and I learned to shoot my shot with a level of confidence that only arrived after I did the thing, not before. Everything I've built — the photography method, the community, the newsletter, the advisory work, the magazine features — came from staying in it long enough to see what it could become.
That's what I bring into Private Advisory.
Finally got my project published.
We shopped it around for years before Lisa changed the angle of the story, helped write a new pitch a hook, advised on which photos to select and now it's a four page spread in a print magazine.

WHAT HAPPENS HERE
We spend three months together. I come into your world, your brand, your creative output, your platforms, your ideas, your stuck places, and I help you see what you're too close to see.
By helping you understand what you're already doing, what it's worth, and where it can go next. The possibilities that felt out of reach have a way of becoming obvious and your next steps have a way of appearing.
Women leave our first session feeling something I can only describe as: oh my gosh. I can totally do this.
That's what we are here for.
My clients come from beauty, entertainment, lifestyle, interiors, and anywhere a founder is building something with a strong creative and cultural point of view.
Like the small batch perfumer making romantic floral scents by hand in her London Victorian workshop, and the print shop owner bringing affordable art to every home through regional artists and a gallery pipeline.
HOW WE WORK
Three months. Six sessions. Ongoing access in between.
We begin with a full review of everything you're building. Two working sessions per month with focused, real conversations that move things forward. Send drafts, ideas, and questions between sessions and I'll respond within 48 hours. Creative and strategic direction as milestones are reached.
About Lisa
Lisa has built a portfolio career across consulting, advisory, education, digital products, and community programming.
In addition to her creative work, Lisa serves on several advisory boards and consults with founders and brands across beauty, interiors, editorial media, and the arts. Her work blends creative direction, storytelling, and strategic perspective for companies and creators shaping culture.
She also makes spicy tuna wontons from scratch. Phil Rosenthal from Somebody Feed Phil has strong feelings about them. She has an 860-day Kindle streak, is a Human Design 3/5 generator which means she learns by doing and people keep asking her for advice she didn't know she was qualified to give. She's moving to Portland next month and cannot wait to have a good bookstore within walking distance.

Two Sold Out Shows and a
Co-Op Studio
Lisa told me to stop looking for my people online and start finding the ones already showing up in my community. I finally got the nerve to approach gallery owners. Since then I've had two sold out shows, I'm regularly speaking on panels, and I've founded a co-op studio to help other artists reach their financial goals.
